Duplicate resumes
are always a matter of concern during recruitment. Apart from
incorrect number of results during a search and shortlisting
the same candidate multiple times, the associated problems
can lead to several types of confusions and embarrassments.
The Duplicate Detection & Management (DDM) Engine of Résuméfox
helps in identifying and managing the duplicate resumes. This
engine helps in making sure that resume databank is free of
duplicate resumes.
When saving a resume into Résuméfox , it can
detect if the resume being saved is already present in the
database. A combination of candidate's key identification
is used for this purpose. Once such a potential duplicate
is found, Résuméfox offers three choices. You
may discard the resume being saved, use it to update the existing
one in the database, or add it as new resume (there is always
a possibility of a genuinely new candidate with similar identifying
parameters).
An extremely user-friendly interface enables the user to going
through the contents of the resume being saved and also through
the contents of resumes already in the database of which it
could be a potential duplicate.
