Résuméfox comprises of
two modules viz. the Base Module and the Tracking Module.
In a typical organization, just a few people that are responsible
for sourcing resumes and populating the database use
the Base Module while all others who are responsible for searching,
shortlisting, forwarding the resumes, interviewing the candidates,
and tracking the progress of the hiring process, use
the Tracking module.

The Base Module populates the Résuméfox database
and the Resume bank by scanning the resumes and parsing the
information contained in them automatically. It can comfortably
deal with unstructured resume documents in any of .doc, .txt,
.rtf, and .html formats.

Key components
of Base Module |

IntelEx Engine
The heart of the Base Module is the Intelligent
data Extraction (IntelEx) Engine that automatically extracts
key information such as First Name, Last Name, Experience,
Qualifications, Date of Birth (you can disable this one if laws in your country prohibit asking age of candidates), Location, Email address, and
Telephone Numbers from the resumes with impressive accuracy.
This engine accomplishes in an hour what would typically take
a few days of work by couple of people. And it is more accurate
and efficient.
The IntelEx engine can work with resumes sitting in the form
of emails in Microsoft Outlook or as simple files on your
machine. The need for manual data entry of candidate information
is entirely eliminated by this engine.

DDM Engine
The Base Module also has an innovative Duplicate Detection
& Management (DDM) Engine that helps in identifying and
managing the duplicate resumes. This engine helps in making
sure that resume databank is free of duplicate resumes.
Integrated Tools
Another productivity enhancing feature of the Base Module
is that it integrates the MS Outlook interface, a databasing
tool, and Microsoft Word into one screen thereby eliminating
the need to switch between multiple applications. The three
different applications are tightly coupled and hence talk
to each other making data exchange among them very fast and
without hitches or errors.

Tracking
Module

The Tracking Module is a web-based application
built using Microsoft's .Net technology that can be accessed
through Internet Explorer 6.0 and above. It is designed to
be used by a larger section of people in an organization that
includes recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers.
This module helps in maintaining the database of clients
and requirements and in quickly building candidate shortlists
for each of them. It provides facility to send mass (but personalized)
emails to candidates for their confirmation. The resumes of
shortlisted and willing candidates can be forwarded to internal
or external clients. Different letter templates can be maintained
within the application for sending emails to candidates and
clients. This module then helps in accurately tracking the
progress of the hiring process with respect to each candidate,
client or requirement.
The most important feature of this module is Wild-Search
that is capable of searching through the contents of hundreds
of thousands of resume documents quickly and pinpointing the
resumes most suitable for a requirement. The Wild-Search in
combination with database search of the structured data (present
in the database), called the Combined Search, further improves
the quality of the shortlists.
